Who is Generation X? We are Generation X. People who are in late 20s and early 50s. According to Wikipedia:
Generation X is the generation born after the baby boom ended. While there is no universally agreed upon time frame, the term generally includes people born from the early 1960′s to the late 1970′s and early 1980′s, usually not later than 1982.
While Baby Boom Generation is the generation born during the post World War II and they may enjoy the economic boom and a good quality of life. Job was easy to find, the pay was good, it was easy to start a business and the competition was less. My parents were baby boom generation. The education for kids are not as expensive as today.

There is a thin line but a big difference between self-employed job and real business. Many work at home moms or WAHM including myself consider a self-employed job as a WAHM business. I enjoy being self-employed because it gives me TIME FLEXIBILITY to manage my own time schedule to work. A self-employed man like I DID IT MY WAY or DO IT YOURSELF way to work on their self-employed job. That’s true. In self-employed job, we lead none. In business, we lead other people and be a leader.

If you are running a WAHM business, the choice of products will play a part in your WAHM business success. What attracts customers to purchase from you every month? Will sales, promotion or freebies work? They do work temporarily. Consumables is brisk business and not many WAHM business owners consider consumables or household products. If you sell consumables, your customers will always come back to purchase from you every month. Of course, you don’t want to sell the same products like the grocery stores have to offer. You have to sell consumables in SUPERIOR QUALITY at REASONABLE PRICES and the most important thing: they are not available in grocery shops. How can you source these consumables? You don’t need to import directly from the manufacturer and take the risks. The answer is probably from direct selling company. Most of products in direct selling company are not available in grocery shops. Direct selling company allows an individual to be distributor. You purchase goods at wholesale prices and resell them at retail prices.
