Mother’s Day is a special occasion to honor the essence of a mother. Mother’s day brings an emotion bond between
- you and your kids
- you and your mother, mother in law or your sisters
- you and your mom peers.
Here are some great ideas to celebrate Mother’s day and make the day is special for moms:
1. Sending a card.
A card with personalised message warms the heart of recipient. I usually receive Mother’s day cards from my kids.
2. Giving a gift.
Personalised gift often gives a surprise to the recipient. Personalised t-shirt, mug or photo frame, engraved gift box with the recipient’s name are among personalised gift. Remember when you give a gift, tailor the gift to the personality of the person. Some favorite gifts for moms:
- Apparels, Accessories, Perfume for a stylish mom.
- Books, for moms who like to read but you must know her favorite topics or maybe, you can just give book voucher.
- Kitchen Gadgets, but please avoid giving sharp items. If your mom likes to cook, this can be a perfect gift.
- Flowers or herb seed kits for moms who like gardening and appreciate flowers.
- Fitness or Sport Items for moms who like sport and outdoor activities.
3. Casual Get Together with Moms
Organize a gathering for moms only and have a lunch or light snacks together.
4. Getaway
Go for a picnic or spa treatment to rejuvenate yourself.
5. Dining
You can have a nice dining with your mom and family at a fancy restaurant.
Happy Mother’s Day! Whatever you plan you will make yourself happy and you bring a joy to your mom and other moms too.
